Dr. Dmitriy Garmatyuk

Dmitriy Garmatyuk earned engineer’s degree (Dipl. Eng.) from Taganrog State University of Radio Engineering (Russia) in 1996. In 1998 he joined Environmental Remote Sensing Laboratory at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), where his doctoral studies focused on the investigation of high-resolution radar imaging using band-limited random noise waveforms. He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from UNL in 2001 and became a Senior Analog Design Engineer with the Circuit Design Technology and Automation Group of Intel Corporation in Folsom, CA the same year. At Intel, he participated in the development of first-ever high-speed serial interfaces, as well as in feasibility studies of ultra-wideband (UWB) communications and signal integrity analysis of modern interconnect architectures.
In 2005 he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Miami University, where he established courses in electromagnetics and VLSI circuit design and pursues research in the areas of electromagnetics, radar imaging, and signal/power integrity analysis.
